The COVID-19 pandemic continued to drive strong homebuying interest and intensify market competition while changing consumers’ housing preferences and fueling sellers’ home equity, according to the latest C.A.R. Annual Housing Market Survey report. The report uses monthly transnational data and results from the 2021 survey to get a better understanding of the current market conditions and how they might have affected home buying and home selling behavior.
